At the upper floor
Wednesday, 26 June 2019, 6 p.m.
Exhibition: 27 June – 20 September 2019
In “EINAUSBLICK” Werner Haypeter deals with space: with pictorial spaces, with spaces that his sculptures and objects occupy, and with the exhibition space that his works share with the viewer. New works are presented in an installation related to architecture. In spring of 2019, Werner Haypeter was awarded the August Macke Medal 2020 for his complete oeuvre. “In his pictorial, wall-related works right down to his floor objects and installations acting on certain spaces, Haypeter opens up new experiences of seeing and of space,” according to the jury’s statement.
